No clue if these are on time use codes or not. If you're going to buy the game these are apparently extra emblems and stuff. Create a Bungie account, find Destiny, and then go to "Code Porta". Try these out. If first person tries and they work please let others know here if you don't mind.

I just realized that they're now doing open beta on all of the consoles, no need for a code.
Lol. $#@!ers. Still do all the nine digit codes on bungie.net if you're getting the game.
After playing for a couple hours, a few thoughts:
-The game looks beautiful, but it feels a bit bland so far. The story seems really generic. You're a "guardian" battling against the "darkness." The enemy is "The Fallen." It all feels very boiler plate. The art direction (or whatever you'd call it), the characters, the gameplay. I haven't really felt immersed in the world, yet.
-The handful of missions I've played so far have been pretty boring. Story and exploration.
-No blood whatsoever? That sucks. At least let me spill a little green alien blood or something. Probably doing this to get a "T" rating. Gay.
The lack of originality makes me wonder if the full game will really capture my attention and keep me entertained for an extended amount of time.
I entered them just now too. Afterwards, I clicked the link to "view redeemed codes" and it lists destiny collector cards (#1 - 17) as what the codes yielded. Not sure what that means.
They are still doing some testing with the beta. Apparently they are doing a server load test tomorrow at 2pm PST. They are encouraging players to log in and play at that time.
I'll be honest I've been nervous about this game for a while so I'm hoping the beta cures that.
I'll be giving a big benefit of the doubt to the fact that it's bungie and they had me at Marathon and truly understood me at Halo...
I want this to be a great game but I'm worried.
Speedtrucker, why worried? Just because it's such a lofty game that they may try to do too much, and lose some of what makes their more linear, focused games great?
A lot of it has been that I don't see a story to drive the game.
It looks like a cross between borderlands2 and halo. What made borderland1/2 work was the highly creative characters and weapons with a so-so story. Halo worked because bungie and 343 tell a great story with side characters that compliment the faceless often emotionless Master Chief.
Like a jack of all trades but a master of none type feel.
Again I've not played the demo and haven't heard or read a bunch from bungie.
I'm hoping I'm wrong, really wrong.
Oh and I heard peter dinklage was terrible... Heh
I think this is going to be something I'll for sure pick up and enjoy. I used to be all in to Halo but for whatever reason haven't played since Halo 3.
Halo 4 was incredible. Played online last week. Great $#@!.
What's this code $#@!? I went and downloaded it last night do you actually need a code to play it though?
Not positive but I think the codes were to get in the earlier part of the beta and it's in open beta now so you don't need them anymore.
I think the codes will unlock some gear when the full game is released.
Reminds me a lot of SWTOR mmorpg but as a fps. Playing as kappbu on xbox one, anyone feel free to add me.

A reminder at 12pm CST is the load test thing where bungie is giving away special stuff that WILL carry over to retail. Also some stuff that won't carry over.
Login in about 5 minutes if you want it
I thought it was 4 here.
So you just need to go to the moon and do whatever up there in order to get the reward?
Not quite sure, just finish moon mission and headed back to citadel... Err tower right now
I played my first mission with a three person fire team and It makes it more fun and better. Especially with against the large Spider looking thing. Not even sure what it's called.
I did the moon mission as a level 5 and felt pretty undergeared. That boss took some patience and work.
I'm just waiting for that little computer thing to say "Hey! Listen!"
Pretty good game so far, but seems a lot like Halo. That can be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on how it stacks up.
Me and 2 other level 7s have been fighting that damn Devil Walker for about 20 minutes. Ridiculous.
Yeah, not liking this game much. It's Halo crossed with Borderlands in an MMO body. Some of it is nearly impossible to solo this early on, so it's not something I want to invest my time in. I haven't gotten into an MMO since I quit WoW, and I don't really want to get into another. I hate random people too much to rely on them to be semi-competent.
Yeah.. Went through that a second time and got both bosses down in under 20. I think I'll be buying this.
Spread out and shoot those things in the legs until the armor falls off.
destinys level cap is a soft 20
that is low, I hit level 8 in like 2 hours during the beta.Destiny may not be an MMO in the eyes of many, but it sounds like Bungie designers have got the genre's endgame gear treadmill mechanics down pat.
Eurogamer reports that while the level cap is technically 20, you'll convert post-20 XP into something called Motes of Light which can then be used to make special armor. Said armor will give you a stat boost that is necessary for some of Destiny's endgame raids.
I kinda like the lowish lvl cap, less getting lapped by $#@!et 11 year olds. I won't feel so behind.
Anyone have any info about how big the world is, scope of the game, etc? I love the free roam, open-world style, but the exploration mission in beta does feel a tad restrictive to me. Like not being able to go in water, borders with that countdown warning, etc.
Haven't been following this at all. Saw some pre-order stuff pop up in my Xbox and dug around today in between football games to watch a trailer or two and read some articles.
Anyone else think this game looks like $#@!? It sort of looks like $#@! to me. I don't understand what the "biggest video game budget of all time" has really brought? It looks like a bad Halo mod.
I'd rather just buy the Halo Collection and keep playing Titanfall until then

Nice little surprise this Labor Day weekend with Groupon (yep of all places) selling pre-orders of Destiny at 10% off. The upcoming title from Bungie will be released in less than two weeks on September 9th.
Discounts on AAA titles are always a rarity, especially for console video games. You can grab Destiny for $53.99 at Groupon after using coupon "LABOR10" during checkout. Shipping is free and the game will be shipped on release day. The coupon expires Sep 1s and is available on all platforms: PS4, PS3, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
For those not willing to wait for shipping, other deals are available on Destiny and the pre-order bonuses are all credit based:
The Microsoft Store one ups everyone else (relatively), offering free release day delivery plus a $10 Xbox Gift Code for those getting the Xbox One or 360 version through their online store. If you pre-order before September 5th at 2PM Pacific, Microsoft Store is guaranteeing you'll receive the game by its release date (as long as you don't live in the middle of no where).
Over at Best Buy you can pre-order the game for the full MSRP, but you'll receive a $10 Best Buy rewards certificate as an incentive. Those with the Gamers Club Unlocked status at Best Buy will get 20% off on Destiny in addition to the rewards certificate. With the Best Buy option you can opt to pick-up in Store on release day, so you'll be able to game on day one.
Pre-Order Bonuses for Destiny
For those pre-ordering at Best Buy or Microsoft Store, you'll receive the "exclusive" pre-order bonus early access to the "Vanguard Armory" Set. The Armory set nets you Vanguard weapons and gear, plus a Vanguard player emblem.
Note that this is just an early access, so regular gamers who didn't bother to pre-order (or those buying from Groupon) will still be able to unlock the Vanguard set eventually.
All in all, some solid deals for what looks to be a contender for top game of 2014. Let us know in the comments if you spot other pre-order deals for Destiny!
I pre-ordered it on xbox live and have already downloaded it. So now I just have to wait until 12:01am on the 9th.
