Question for the shagsters with kids under the age of 10 or so. Do kids these day play "guns" or "war" anymore? I mean, I know homeland security would probably be called, but when we were kids we all had plastic guns that looked like real guns. We ran around playing and "shooting" each other. I am guessing kids don't so that anymore. Or maybe at 12 they graduate to the real thing?

I had one of these as a kid...
I also remember receiving "xeroxes" from the local police during first and second grade warning us to be on the lookout for "stickers" that looked like these -

Perhaps one of my earliest memories as a child. I was 3 and some change. My dad brought two of these home, one for me and one for my older brother.

I do believe that was the first time a comic book hero was portrayed in a dramatic fashion, rather than the spoofy Batman, or Superman. I think that, for me, is why it is so very memorable.
