All of the 2018 Sachse kids from that stacked class have shown up in Texas gear. If we start getting offers out things could get spicy.
Pulled off of Holland's Twitter - I think UT is winning the apparel war:
Isaiah Humphries, Jalen Mayden, Verone McKinley and Drue Jackson (yes that's a longhorn hiding under his bag strap).
DT Bobby "Tre" Brown - 2018 - NR - Arlington Lamar 6'4' 270
First time I got to see him was about a week ago at a satellite camp stop and he is very stout. Very well put together. I think he is a versatile guy up front who could play some DE and some DT. Built more like a DE. Houston offered after its camp and I think it would have offered right there on the spot if it could have (schools can't offer at camps).
Jayden looks pretty big, may have some more growing to do.
He'll be a Jr. next year?
Tre Brown is in game condition; Mike Roach, otoh...
Tre brown looks like he's 35 years old. That guy could be a monster by 2018
How long before UT becomes the new LBU?
Yup and Bobby Tre Brown is currently unranked, but some are arguing that when it's all said and done he'll be a 5*. I'll trust in Strong on this one, especially when recruiting players on defense.
LB from Lovejoy (Allen) named Bumper Pool committed to USC per his twitter. Kid got a sweet offer sheet.

When does UT have their on-campus QB camp this summer? Did that get replaced by satellite camp?

Two interesting quotes from BON's interview with Anthony Cook that, I think, show that Strong's approach is starting to take hold in Texas:
"[Texas] was a big offer, and definitely one of my bigger offers," Cook said. "Texas doesn’t offer early, so to receive an offer from them was a blessing,"
"You know, Charlie Strong is bringing back the old DBU." Cook said.
These rankings are going to change A LOT between now and NSD 2018. Always something to keep in mind. Jalen Campbell was in the Top 10 of the Rivals' Lone Star Rankings, and was drawing comparisons to Tyrann Mathieu, when Mack and Patterson offered. It's always a dangerous game giving out offers this early, regardless if you're a guy like Mack or an evaluator like Strong/Patterson.
For now, it's best to assume we know little about these kids. When Strong sends out an offer to a 2018 kid, he has a set idea in his mind of how the kid will progress and develop during his junior year. If reality fails to match the ideal, the offer goes out the window very quickly.

Mack did move the clock up by offering on Junior Days, but by the time he reached his 'sell-by' date late February wasn't early any more. If I remember correctly, by the end many of the guys who finished at the top of the state rankings weren't even coming to Junior Days and Mack was just inviting guys who were quick commits.
