Definitely in. That instagram is really cool too.
Perfect timing to drop today, given the weather that's coming.
One episode in. Calling it sci-fi seems....not quite right since it's a lot of things.
Just watched episode 1 of this without knowing anything at all about this show outside of hearing the title. The acting and writing are so good that I don't really care what the big mystery is or how it resolves itself.
I found myself cheering as a result of the sack and the wife thought I was totally stupid. I also wanted to rewind and watch the play again but she wouldn't let me. This is how much we have been hurting for football highlights.
Will aggy flip out that Longhorns feature in this show? And what K-State game was this?

I can't believe I spent 8 hours watching this show the past couple days. Ho lee $#@! it was bad.
That bad but you continued to watch?
Yeah, I got a problem starting shows and not being able to stop until I finish. Maybe it's just not my cup of tea.
You should watch Seinfeld, MASH, and the Andy Griffith show. Might take up a few days of your time.
So I'm thinking I'll pass on this then.
At least read Sepinwall's spoiler review. You'll still not want to ever watch it but will love the gifs.

On episode 3.

will somebody just go ahead and spoiler the end twist here to save us all a few hours? Thanks. I did like her "coming-out" movie "Another Earth."
Well I read that sepinwall spoiler and no thanks.
Half way through and it's getting better but the pacing is very slow.
I finished it.
Read on if you want spoilers, but be aware that I won't be watching season 2, if there is one. That should tell you how I feel about this show.

I was avoiding this thread so I could watch this spoiler free. I'm glad I was weak and clicked on it anyway. Thanks for saving me from investing any time on this.
Just finished this. I thought it was good. Don't really know what's going on, but good character development and stories.
I really liked 'Another Earth', and I can't exactly explain why, and wish there had been more/a sequel, and I liked The OA, and I can't exactly explain why either. I can tell that this is instantly one of those really like it/really hate it/no middle ground movies.
It could use some polish, but I'm tentatively in for a second season.
Phyllis from 'The Office' is a damn fine actress. I guess I never paid her much attention because she was such a background character.
Its almost more of a novel than a tv series. The writing is literary, but so is the pace. The main character literally tells a story for 8 episodes...
I think there are a lot of elements that will appeal to women (female protagonist, magic dancing defeats death/sickness, romance), so I could see that turning away a certain demographic. But I like shows that offer different takes on the afterlife and there were some very interesting elements on that subject. The mad scientist was a compelling character. Watched all 8 episodes in one sitting.
I had no idea what was going on in the last scene, but it had my full attention.

So, should I watch this or not? The first episode was pretty good.
3epsodes in far. Very fresh ideas. Good acting. Story line seems so off the charts it makesthe show very interesting. Gonna keep watching/binging
Finished this last night. The first few episodes were great but they throw something in there about halfway through that makes the show completely impossible to take seriously.
Will probably stick around for season 2 though because I am interested inSpoiler!
Was it ever explained why the five had to leave their front door unlocked? I noticed in the last couple episodes the stoner dude and someone else return home to an open door. But none of that is explained.
Just finished it today. Like Atom says, you will either like it not.
I loved it because I accept the basic premise. The premise is that there many other dimensions that we are not aware of and in my case I think we exist in many others simultaneously but are unaware of it.
Many people will consider it similar to "Ted's caving journal". http://www.angelfire.com/trek/caver/page1.html.
I actually liked it
Best part though was the horns cameo
Finished it tonight. Really liked it - kinda disappointed that we were left with so much more to answer - even though that guarantees more eps later on.
GF called the school shooter right off the bat and that kinda freaked me out. She was like "didn't you listen to her premonition?"
Yes, I enjoyed it as well. At times it was hard to follow. But all the twisting around added to the overall effect, I thought.
I kept thinking of it as "Omega Alpha" - which could be the opposite of God... which would be Satan
I liked it.
I'm typing this without having read the posts on this thread yet but I just finished the series. I know it's in this board's nature to overly dramatize its explanations and reviews of just about everything but this may be one of the worst shows I've ever seen.
Yes, I watched all eight episodes and I knew by Episode 2 or 3 it was not a show I would typically finish 99% of the time but I had to see how bad it would get (I turned it off for good on two separate occasionsbut I came back both times to see how low it would go.) Honestly, I got to the point about halfway through it was so unwatchable it largely became background noise while I worked or read. Just a terrible car wreck all around.Spoiler!
I could go on for a while but it's probably not best to waste any more time on this show. If there is a television category for the Golden Raspberries I would fully expect it to win in a landslide.

You're a dumbass
Nope Chet is right. Not a good show.
But of course your allowed to like whatever you want. Always surprises me which shows get a lot of love and which ones don't on here.
I really enjoyed it and thought the last episode was oddly beautiful yet unsatisfying. Whichever previous poster said the story was fresh, I wholeheartedly agree. I also thought the acting was very compelling. Would recommend to anyone who likes a little art in their TV.
